Photos from Blackheath Halls’ The Little Sweep

Here are a few photographs of Blackheath Halls’ production of Benjamin Britten’s The Little Sweep in April.

Louise Innes performed the role of Miss Baggott, with Lawrence Wallington as Bob/Tom. The role of Clem/Alfred and Rowan were performed by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance student Will Davies with students Susanna Buckley and Julia Weatherley each performing the role of Rowan at two of the four performances. Eleven young people sang the principal roles (Sam Sparrow and the Brook and Crome children) with a community chorus of local children and adults, including children from across the river from St Peter’s School in Wapping. Director was James Hurley with Christopher Stark as Musical Director. The project was generously supported by The Hearn Foundation and by individual donors.
